Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

We are very opinionated. We would be happy to discuss in much more detail our answers with you. Give us a call. We hope you find this information useful. Do not see your questions listed? Please send us an email at carlthorne@hthcatlanta.com

Thank you.

Q. Are Apple computers better than Windows based systems?

A. That is a very complex question requiring more information on what your business computing needs are. We used both platforms in our business. We would be happy to talk to you about the pro's and con's of both platforms as they relate to your business. Please call us.

Q. Should I upgrade to Vista?

A. No! We beta tested Vista (We are Microsoft Business Partners). We hate Vista and consider it unstable, buggy, bloat ware and resource intensive. Many business critical applications are not ported to Vista. Some of our objections may change over time, but we run Win XP after having experimented extensively with Vista.

Q. How do I protect my children from the nasty stuff on the internet?

A. Do not give your kids laptops that can connect to your wireless network. The best solution is supervise your kids computer usage. You cannot do this with them in their bedroom surfing the internet via a wireless connection. We would be happy to discuss other options / solutions with you, if constant supervision is not a practical option.

Q. What is your favorite movie of all time?

A. Where Eagles Dare starring Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood followed by Ice Station Zebra starring Rock Hudson, Patrick McGoohan, Ernest Borgnine and Jim Brown.
